Miriam Korngold focuses her practice on immigration law matters nationwide. She comes from a family of immigrants and admires the bravery required to cross borders and live in a foreign place. She handles the following types of immigration law matters:
- E, H, L, TN, O, and P visas;
- Asylum, Cancellation of Removal, U visas, T visas, SIJS, DACA, and VAWA;
- Fiancé and Spouse visas;
- Adjustment of Status; and
Miriam grew up in Portland, Oregon and now lives in Seattle, Washington. In addition to serving clients through Passage Immigration Law, Miriam regularly offers pro bono legal services to the immigrant community through the King County Bar Association (KCBA), Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (NWIRP), and Washington Immigrant Defense Network (WIDEN). She is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA)’s Washington Chapter.
Her prior legal experience includes representing unaccompanied immigrant youth at a national immigrant rights nonprofit and working as an associate at a Pacific Northwest regional law firm. She earned her law degree from the University of Washington School of Law in 2012.
